Melbourne
v Nth Melbourne

Melbourne v Nth Melbourne - two teams with an enormous depth of young talent
and with amazing futures ahead. It is predicted both teams will be doing battle
at the top end of the ladder for the next few seasons.
With stars like Harvey, Swallow, Bastinac and co.. the name Levi Greenwood
was not one that many predicted would take the game on and come out with BOG but
a game high and personal best possession getter, he took on one of our best in
Colin Sylvia and won.
We had our winners too with James Frawley again having an amazing game and
well deserving of his inclusion in the All Australian squad. Liam Jurrah got a
personal best goal tally of 5 for the match and Brad Green also with 5 did their
utmost to get us over the line.
AFL is often a game of taking your chances because if you don't and let the
opposition in, you pay.. We paid. They are young ( well most of them) and will
learn from this season but it is not a failure. We made some great strides and
not once this year did we wave the white flag when we were under siege or being
beaten. Our young stars of the future will only get better with a year under
their belts and our mid range players had some career best seasons. We will rise
in 2011.
